Water service interruption in Mabou on Monday

There is a temporary water service interruption happening in Mabou on Monday.

Work to replace fire hydrants is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

The end time will be notified through the Municipality of Inverness County’s website and Facebook page.

The following area will be affected:
• Route 19, from civic numbers 11511 & 11513 (in the vicinity of the intersection of Route 252 and Route 19)
• Barra Lane
• MacDonell Lane
• Byrnlee’s Lane
• Cameron Hill
• Highway 252 (for those on the municipal water system)

The Municipality is advising affected residents to fill drinking water containers and bathtubs for water to flush toilets in advance.
They thank residents for their patience and cooperation and apologize for any inconveniences the temporary disruption may cause.
