There will be weekend closures in place at a pair of emergency departments in the Quad Counties.
The Strait Richmond Hospital‘s ER in Evanston shuts down because of a lack of physician coverage from 6 a.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Monday.
The emergency department at the St. Anne Centre in Arichat remains closed due to nurse unavailability until 7 a.m. Saturday.
It also closes between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, and also from 7 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday.
You can visit another ER if you require urgent care; you’re asked to call 811 to speak to a registered nurse for any non-urgent health issues.
