West-Highland traffic lights to be installed

Officials in the Town of Antigonish say new traffic lights at a busy intersection are ready to be installed.

They say traffic light installation will take place at Highland Dr. and West St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and again at the same times Monday.

Town officials say traffic control measures will be in place- vehicles coming into the town from the Trans Canada down West St. will be detoured to James St. then Fairview St., while vehicles leaving the town on West St. will continue unobstructed.

They say you should expect delays, or plan an alternate route to avoid the work area.
