Powerful storm puts warnings in place across N.S.

You may want to make sure you phone or ipad is charged up.

Wind and rainfall warnings are in place across the province as a powerful fall storm is about to arrive.

Gusts could reach 100 km/h or more in some areas overnight. However, parts of the highlands in Cape Breton could see winds of 150 km/h.

Meanwhile, we could see upwards of 50 millimeters of rain.

Conditions should improve by mid-day on Thursday.
