Written child pornography charges for Antigonish man

Police are charging an Antigonish man with making written child pornography.

RCMP say their Provincial Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit searched and seized electronic devices in August 2025 and on January 7.

They say conversations were found with another Antigonish man that contained written material advocating sexual activity with a child, which is an offence under the Criminal Code.

The 33-year-old man faces charges of making written child pornography.

He was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on May 27.
