You can apply to be a seat filler at the JUNO awards!

For the second time in its 53 year history, the 2024 JUNO awards show will be broadcast from Halifax! The host this year is Nelly Furtado for the Sunday, March 24 show at the Scotiabank Centre.

The awards show will feature performances by The Beaches, Charlotte Cardin, Nelly Furtado and more! Maestro Fresh Wes will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame & Tegan and Sara will also be honoured during the ceremony with the Humanitarian Award presented by Award-winning actor and Halifax native Elliot Page.

Organizers are looking for seat fillers for the show. What that means is you would sit in empty seats for industry guests, performers, presenters and various other empty seats throughout the venue.

It’s important to remember that by volunteering as a Seat Filler, you may have a great view, a partially-blocked view, or a not-so-great view of the show. You may be in the same seat for the entire show, you may be asked to move around frequently, or you may be given no seat at all, and held in the audience holding area depending on seating capacity needs.

The registration form may suddenly close when registration becomes full.
