More than 100 homes were impacted by a flash flood in Eskasoni First Nation due to heavy rain across the region.
Eskasoni L’nue’kati says crews spent most of Sunday night clearing debris from storm drains and assessing damaged caused by the flooding.
Crews are continuing to respond to house calls throughout the community, noting that it’s important for residents to properly document all damages by taking photos and videos, which can be sent directly to Eskasoni’s Housing Department crew via text or email.
