Q’s Eagles look to stretch win streak in N.B.

The QMJHL’s Cape Breton Eagles begin the final weekend of the first half with a road trip to New Brunswick.

They are looking to extend a winning streak Friday night in Saint John.

They’ll battle the Sea Dogs – who have been fighting the injury bug- during their first visit of the season to the Port City.

The Eagles picked up a pair of wins last weekend, starting with a 5-0 win over Saint John in Sydney before finishing with a 5-3 victory over Val-d’Or.

It will be goaltender Jacub Milota’s final start for about a month as he heads off to represent Czechia at the World Juniors.
