Antigonish Bulldogs win 3rd straight Don Johnson Cup

It’s a three-peat for the Antigonish Junior B Bulldogs.

They won the Don Johnson Cup with a 3-2 overtime win over the Cap Pele Knights in New Brunswick on Sunday.

Will McKinnon scored the winner in the first minute, it’s only the second time a Nova Scotian team has won three straight Atlantic Junior B titles.

The Bulldogs had to beat the Capstone Colts in double overtime Saturday to make the final.

Antigonish finished runner-up to the Colts in the Nova Scotia final earlier this month.
