19-year-old man charged with aggravated assault in Eskasoni

After a youth was found with life-threatening injuries, a Wagmatcook man has been charged with aggravated assault.

RCMP say the 19-year-old man was charged after a youth was found collapsed and injured outside of a school on Shore Rd.

It is reported that several people witnessed the altercation that occurred on Sunday morning around 4 a.m.

The man was safely arrested and released on the condition to attend court on April 20.
