The province is putting up another $193 million for high-speed internet improvements.
Premier Stephen McNeil made the announcement Tuesday.
McNeil says they’re adding more than 100 communities in the second round of funding for Internet for Nova Scotia Initiative projects, which will provide access to an additional 32,000 homes and businesses.
“Reliable high-speed internet is an essential part of building a strong, connected Nova Scotia,” he says.
In February, Provincial officials announced projects for phase one in Goshen in Guysborough Co., Malignant Cove in Antigonish Co., and Cheticamp and Inverness in Inverness Co.
