25 new cases of COVID-19

The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting 25 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.

Officials say 19 cases are in Central Zone. Four are travel related, nine are close contacts of previously reported cases, including two school-based cases first reported Tuesday, and six are under investigation, one a school-based case first reported Tuesday.

They say three are in Northern Zone, one related to travel and the other two under investigation, and three are in Eastern Zone, all related to travel.

Provincial data shows 79 active infections in the province.
