Early Spring snow for Quad Counties

You may have to shovel a bit this morning.

Early-spring snow arrived in the Quad Counties yesterday.

Over 15 centimetres fell in some areas, and the roads are snow covered.

Schools in the Strait Regional Centre for Education in Richmond and Inverness counties, and the Town of Port Hawkesbury are closed today.

SRCE Schools in Antigonish Town and County will delay opening by two hours.

Buses in Antigonish and Guysborough counties will only be travelling on paved roads this morning.

A snowfall warning is still in effect for Cape Breton and Victoria counties, where over 30 centimetres could fall.

All schools in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education are closed today.
