RCMP have charged a 21-year-old Eskasoni man after a stabbing took place.
Units responded to reports of the stabbing on Friday afternoon, where they learned that the man had stabbed a youth after the two of them had gotten into a physical altercation. The two were known to each other.
The young man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and officers were able to safely arrest the 21-year-old.
He is set to appear in provincial court, where he will face charges of assault with a weapon.
