RCMP say administrative services will be impacted from PSAC strike

The RCMP say the Public Service Alliance of Canada strike will disrupt administrative services, not their front-line policing.

These include administrative support, media relations, web updates and public access to RCMP buildings.

Services associated with criminal record checks will also be affected. For more information you can contact your local detachment.

Northeast Nova and Southwest Nova RCMP Detachments will only have part-time front desk services, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3pm. However, phones will be answered.

At this time, RCMP Detachments in Halifax District will not be impacted.
