4-H Nova Scotia’s signature event, Provincial Show (Pro Show) is taking place from October 2-4, 2026, at the South Shore Exhibition Grounds in Bridgewater, NS!
Pro Show celebrates the hard work, dedication and passion of our 4-H members. Throughout the year, youth across the province prepare projects, train animals and build skills to proudly showcase at Pro Show. It’s a highlight of the 4-H calendar – and a weekend you won’t want to miss!
The Pro Show schedule is packed with a variety of classes, competitions and activities! Market members will present their market projects, including Beef, Sheep Goat and Turkey and compete in a live auction.
Throughout the weekend, there will be a variety of livestock classes featuring Horses, Cattle, Goats, Sheep, Rabbits, Cavy and Dogs. Members will also put their skills to the test in live competitions ranging from food preparation and woodworking to tractor driving and cattle clipping competitions.
One of the fan-favourite events is the Fashion Show, where sewing members take to the runway to model their handmade outfits!
Life Skill projects will be on display all weekend long, showcasing the creativity, talent and hard work of our 4-H members. There will also be an onsite quilt project, and everyone is welcome to participate in creating the 4-H themed quilt before it is auctioned off at Sunday’s closing ceremony.
Another exciting event is our 4-H Tug of War competitions. County teams will compete throughout the weekend in this high energy event, making for some great Tug of War!
The weekend will come to an end Sunday with the closing ceremony, where the Top County will be announced and awarded the 4-H Flag!
Win a John Deere Lawn Tractor!
This year we will also be drawing a winner for a John Deere Lawn Tractor, generously donated by Green Diamond Equipment! Tickets are available through the 4-H Nova Scotia 50/50 Cash Raffle Fundraiser on Rafflebox. The early bird prize, a John Deere Lawn Mower, will be drawn at Pro Show, while the 50/50 grand prize winner will be drawn at the Rotted Gala in November.
Come out to Provincial Show and celebrate everything that makes 4-H Nova Scotia so special. With competitions, livestock, projects, teamwork and plenty of 4-H spirit, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
