Landry starts as SRCE executive director of education

The new executive director of education for the Strait Regional Centre for Education says he’s looking forward to the position.

Paul Landry was appointed on Wednesday and started on the job on Monday.

Landry tells The Hawk his experience will help him succeed.

“I’m very familiar with the direction of the regional centre for education, as a director I’ve been very much involved in the activities of the regional centre and working with our community partners” he said. I believe this will serve me well in continuing the excellent work that is underway in our region.”

Landry says he will be focused on student learning, achievement and success.

Landry says he is looking forward to the future for the local area.

“I’m very much looking forward to what the future holds for students, family, staff and school communities doing my part to focus on meeting the needs of all students and to help our students succeed now and to prepare for the future.”

Landry says it is a privilege to be working in the strait area.

He says he is excited to continue the great work of the Strait Regional Centre for Education.
