The Cabot Highlanders Minor Midget AAA hockey team have a new assistant coach.
22-year-old Keegan Marcott from Port Hood played his last season of hockey with the Glace Bay Junior Miners in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League and they won the Atlantic title.
He also played with multiple teams in the MHL.
Marcott also stood alongside head coach Jesse MacLean in numerous tournaments.
The pair coached Dalbrae to the provincial championships.
He replaces Dave Cusack who stepped down earlier this month to join the Antigonish Bulldogs.
Marcott says he is excited to coach with MacLean and he can’t wait to get things rolling.
