A woman was airlifted to hospital after a serious collision in Lunenburg County.
RCMP say it was around 9:30am October 22, on Hwy 103 when two SUV’s, a Ford Edge and a Volvo XC40, collided head on.
The 34-year-old driver of the Ford, a Simms Settlement woman, was taken to hospital by LifeFlight with life-threatening injuries.
Two Cape Breton women from the Volvo, a 68-year-old Syndey woman and a 79-year-old Howie Centre woman were injured and taken to hospital.
The highway was closed for several hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
