It’s a three-day weekend for some students in the Quad Counties.
Classes have been cancelled at three schools due to weather conditions- Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre/Academy, Pleasant Bay School and Ecole NDA in Cheticamp.
Support staff aren’t required to report to work.
Environment Canada forecasters have issued a snow squall watch and wind warning for the Highlands.
