6 charged, 1 still wanted after home invasion in Inverness County

Six people have been charged and a suspect remains wanted after a home invasion in Waycobah.

Inverness County District RCMP say a 33-year-old man was lured out of his Tower Road residence by a woman and then chased by four men who had arrived in a vehicle early on Friday.

He escaped and the men entered his home.

The suspects and victim know each other.

That morning, officers arrested three men and a woman and seized several firearms at a residence.

Another man was arrested Monday, and more firearms were seized.

RCMP are still looking for 19-year-old Landon Jakob Johnson of Waycobah.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Johnson is asked not to approach him and to contact the Inverness County District RCMP at 902-756-3371.
