Allow extra time for delays at the Canso Causeway.
More maintenance is scheduled for the swing bridge.
It will be closed Wednesday at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.; and at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Closures will last about 20 minutes each.
The Department of Public Works says all emergency services have been informed and traffic control personnel will be on site.
