If you smell something funny in the town of Antigonish, the town says they are aware of the odor and that it is coming from the town’s sewage plant.
The town says given the nature of the plant and sudden change in weather or population; it can result in odors.
However, it is not harmful… just unpleasant and they are closely monitoring the situation.
They say the cool weather over the next few days should help and the smell should go away by next week.
