The Antigonish Tories have their candidate for the next provincial election.
Four people put their names forward for the nomination.
Michelle Thompson, Mike MacEachern, Richelle MacLaughlin and Garrett Juurlink.
Thompson came out on top and will represent the Progressive Conservatives.
Riding PC members began voting Thursday and voting closed Saturday evening.
The Antigonish Liberals are represented by incumbent MLA Randy Delorey and local NDP members acclaimed Moraig MacGillivray earlier this month.
Premier Iain Rankin must call an election by spring 2022… riding associations across the province are naming candidates for the contest.
