RCMP look for “people of interest” after firearms stolen from business in Whycocomagh

Inverness County RCMP are looking for two people of interest after a business was broken into in Whycocomagh.

Police say it was Wednesday just after midnight when they responded to an alarm in the 9000 block of Hwy 105.

Firearms and ammunition were stolen.

With the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, officers searched the area and were able to recover five firearms and some ammunition.

Four firearms are still believed to be missing.

The first suspect is described as a man with wavy, long, dark-coloured hair and glasses, wearing a red hoodie and grey or camouflage pants.
