COVID exposure site in St. Peter’s

There’s been a COVID-19 exposure in the Quad Counties.

It happened at the Bras D’or Lakes Inn restaurant in St. Peter’s on Sept. 17.

Anyone who visited the location between 6:00-9:30 p.m. may have been exposed, and could develop symptoms up to and including October 1.

No one is required to self-isolate, regardless of vaccination status, unless they begin showing symptoms.

However, public health is advising those who are partially vaccinated or unvaccinated to get tested at least 72 hours after the exposure and monitor their health for 14 days following the exposure.

Should you begin showing symptoms, you’re required to self-isolate, book a COVID-19 test, and stay isolated until you receive a negative test result.
