Man steals groceries worth hundreds of dollars

Mounties in Antigonish are looking for a man who stole hundreds of dollars worth of groceries.

The man entered a Market St. grocery store at about 8:30 on the evening of oct. 13, police say.

He made off with about $400 worth of groceries.

The man is described as white with short dark hair. He was wearing all black: hoodie, shoes and shorts.

He was seen leaving the parking lot in a small red car.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Antigonish RCMP or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
