COVID exposure at the Keating Centre

There’s been a COVID exposure at a local conference and recreation centre.

Public Health announced yesterday that the Keating Centre at St. Francis Xavier University has been the site of an exposure.

Anyone who visited the Keating Centre between 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 may have been exposed.

Vaccinated individuals who aren’t showing any symptoms are encouraged to book a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of the exposure.

If you’re vaccinated and develop symptoms, you should book a PCR test after symptoms have been present for 48 hours.

There’s no need to self-isolate if you have both doses of a COVID vaccine.

If you’re unvaccinated, self-isolate and book a COVID test immediately, health officials say.
