With winter keeping on trend with another weekend storm in the forecast, Town of Port Hawkesbury officials say local snow removal crews are some of the best around.
Deputy Mayor Jason Aucoin says crews are doing an outstanding job.
“You leave Port Hawkesbury anytime in the last week and you go into any other municipality, any other town and I can guarantee you you’re not going to find roads as clean as you are in Port Hawkesbury. These guys are putting long hours, they’re doing it safely and they’re doing a stand up job. I think that’s something we should really be pushing out there to the public.” He said.
Deputy Mayor Aucoin added that residents can help plow operators by not parking on streets during or after a storm.
