Town of Antigonish Warning Residents of Potential Flooding

With messy weather in store tomorrow, Antigonish officials are warning residents of potentially hazardous conditions.

The Town is urging motorists and pedestrians to use caution given how quickly the weather conditions can change.

They say based on past experience and the water levels in Wrights River and Brierly Brook there could be localized flooding at Creighton Lane Parking Lot, Columbus Field, St. Andrews Street entrance to Columbus Field, East Main Street Bridge and the Church Street Bridge area.

They add that Town officials are making plans to respond to any flooding issues or other situations that arise.
