X-Women hockey forward Lacey Dimaulo was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week.
Lacey, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Okotoks, Alberta scored two goals in helping the X-Women to a 5-0 shutout victory over Dalhousie Friday night to close out AUS regular season play.
Lacey scored the X-Women’s second and third goals of the game for a multi-point performance.
She has four points on the AUS season and is +7 for the third place X-Women.
X-Men hockey defenseman Santino Centorame was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week.
Santino, a fifth year Business student from Mississauga, Ontario played two strong games for the X-Men this weekend.
Santino was a key factor in the X-Men’s 3-2 shootout loss to UNB Friday night, and again Saturday in their 3-2 shootout win over Moncton, sealing up 2nd place in the AUS standings for the X-Men.
He is third overall in AUS defenseman scoring with 16 points on the season.
