The Nova Scotia government is providing one-time grants totaling $396,000 to support 20 community transportation providers across the province.
Kim Masland, Minister of Public Works says “This funding recognizes the financial pressures these organizations have faced, with increases in fuel, insurance and vehicle maintenance costs.”
Local recipients include…
$36,000 for the Antigonish Community Transit Society,
$16,000 for Strait Area Transit,
and $8,000 for the Transit Association of Guysborough.
