With electric and hybrid vehicles becoming more and more prevalent, the Town of Antigonish is looking to better sign their charging stations so people know where they are.
Deputy Mayor, William Cormier, says some of the stations are overtaking former parking spaces.
“Charging stations are popping up where we used to have parking spots so people have to get used to those eight or nine spots and I think we can do a little better job, which is already in process, of marking those to let people know.”
Cormier says Antigonish is one of the first municipalities to have such wide access to EV chargers.
