Aaron Johnson Honoured for Dedication to the Hockey Community

Former NHL player Aaron Johnson will now have an honorary photo on display at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centers sports wall of fame. This is in recognition of his influence on young hockey players and for his commitment to the hockey community.

Johnson was present at the event and expressed his gratitude for receiving the honour and said it was good to be home in Port Hawkesbury. Port Hawkesbury’s deputy mayor Jason Aucoin was also in attendance and said he is extremely proud of Johnson and how he represents this area.

This dedication event had been planned for sometime, but was delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
