Nothing suspicious found in New Glasgow bomb threat investigation

The Aberdeen Business Centre in New Glasgow was evacuated after police received reports of a possible bomb threat.

Officers and fire crews responded just before 5 p.m. on Sunday and safely cleared the building as a precaution, shutting down the area to the public for several hours.

After completing a thorough search of the building, investigators say they did not find anything suspicious. The scene was cleared around 8:30 p.m.

Police say the threat may not have been credible, and that the investigation is ongoing.
