A food drive was recently held at Tamarac Education Centre in Port Hawkesbury. Students were asked to bring in a donation to the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank.
The Port Hawkesbury Food Bank Society extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff and students for their generosity. Through their efforts, an impressive 142 pounds of food was collected and donated to help support local families in need.
This contribution will go a long way in ensuring individuals and families in our community have access to essential items. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference.
The Port Hawkesbury Food Bank is located on Granville Street. Donations can be dropped off near the checkouts at both Sobeys and Superstore, or in person on Monday mornings.
