Drivers travelling through Antigonish County should prepare for brief delays on Highway 104.
The Nova Scotia Department of Public Works says both lanes of Highway 104 beneath the East Tracadie Road overpass, just east of Exit 37, will be subject to temporary closures on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
The closures are required to allow crews to install girders as part of ongoing bridge construction work. Four closures are scheduled each day between 8 a.m. and noon, with each closure expected to last up to 10 minutes.
Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct drivers and help manage traffic through the area.
Drivers are advised to slow down, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time while the work is underway.
