I had a chat with Alayne Martell about Harbour Wars coming up this Saturday.
It’s being held in Little Harbour, Richmond County at the Lobsters R US property.
Deadline to enter a team is end of day August 22
Harbour Wars is Richmond County’s newest family fundraising event featuring a friendly skills competition among fishermen/women to raise money for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation’s Cancer Patient Care Fund.
Harbour Wars will challenge men and women in Richmond County’s fishing industry (which includes about 19 harbours) to raise pledges and compete in the following events: Cod Fish Shuffle, Fish Filleting, Dory Races, Nautical Obstacle Course and Tug of War.
