The Antigonish RCMP say a serious collision has occurred on Highway 4 in Linwood before 8pm Sunday.
They have not provided details at this time.
The Hawk News has learned that the collision, believed to be a single vehicle crash has resulted in a fatality.
They say the highway between Cape Jack Road and New Road will be closed for several hours.
