A goaltender from the Quad Counties has been selected to take part in a national hockey showcase.
Colten Ellis from River Denys has been named to the 2019 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
The annual game, which features the country’s top prospects for the upcoming NHL entry draft, will played in Red Deer, Alberta Jan. 23.
Ellis has a .912 save percentage with the Rimouski Oceanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in the 2018-19 season.
