The Mooseheads (29-8-3), who have won five of their last six, are in a three-way tie with Drummondville and Baie-Comeau for second in the 18-team league with 61 points, four points behind Rouyn-Noranda for top spot, and eight points ahead of Moncton and Charlottetown, the two teams tied for fifth; they’re ranked seventh in the country.
Halifax sweeps the season series 2-0; they play their second game in as many nights when they visit St. Andrews’ Declan Smith and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in Sydney Friday night.
