Pump prices take big jump

The price of gas is up in a big way.

Pump prices climbed 6.1 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.11.5 on the low end, and $1.14.4 on the high end.

Prices have increased in seven of the last eight weeks following three straight weeks with no increases.

Diesel is up as much as 4.1 cents at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.25.4 and a maximum of $1.28.4.
