The Strait Pirates host the Antigonish Bulldogs in an all-important game five in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League playoffs.
The Bulldogs have a commanding three-games-to-one lead in the best-of-seven Sid Rowe division semi-final after a win in game four on home ice last night..
That has the Pirates on the brink of elimination.
Pirates head coach Taylor Lambke tells The Hawk says they need to be hungry to score goals.
“We just need to be desperate, we need to be hungry to score a goal” he said. “We have to empty the tank and try to get a win, that’s the biggest thing, we are fighting for our lives tonight (and) we just have to win one hockey game.”
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 7:30 p.m.
A Bulldogs’ win sends them through to the Sid Rowe division final.
A Pirates’ win and the series returns to Antigonish for game six Sunday night.
