A man was caught red-handed searching through an unlocked vehicle in Antigonish.
According to Antigonish District RCMP they were responding to a theft in progress on St. Mary’s Street Wednesday night where the car’s owner had apprehended the suspect.
They say the man had earlier committed a break…enter and theft from a house on the same street and from another theft from a vehicle at StFX.
20 year old Aaron MacMillan of Antigonish was arrested and charged with, Break and Enter…Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
RCMP say MacMillan was released with conditions and is expected back in Antigonish Provincial Court on April 24.
