St. Andrews’ Declan Smith and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles take a series lead with a win against the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoffs.
The Screaming Eagles scored four times in the second period and beat the Islanders in Charlottetown 4-3.
Declan Smith had two assists in the win.
Cape Breton takes a 3-2 series lead.
The series returns to Sydney for game six Sunday night.
