The second and final day of advance voting for a byelection in the Municipality of the District of Guysborough is underway.
Four candidates are in the race for the District 4 seat- Jenny MacDonald, Tino Winter, Elaine Durling and David Hanhams.
They’re running to replace Blair George, who represented the district for more than 30 years; he was killed in an ATV crash in Halfway Cove in January.
Polls opened at four stations at noon; they close at 8 p.m.
The first day of advance voting was Thursday; election day is Saturday.
