A man charged in relation to a drug bust in Inverness Co. has been released from custody.
Police say officers seized cocaine and drug paraphernalia when they searched a home in Melville Saturday.
They say Steven Leslie MacEachern, 25, has been charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and a breach; he was held in custody, and made his first appearance in the case Monday.
He was released on conditions following a bail application Tuesday; he’s scheduled to return to Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court for an election-and-plea hearing June 19.
MacEachern entered a guilty plea to possession of equipment to assist in the trafficking of cocaine in relation to an April 2018 bust in Sugar Camp; he’s expected to make his first appearance in Wellness Court in that case June 20.
He was sentenced to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking in relation to a Feb. 2012 bust in Port Hawkesbury.
