Pump prices take big jump ahead of Canada Day weekend

The price of gas is up in a big way heading into the long weekend.

Pump prices increased 6.6 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.18.9 on the low end, and $1.21.9 on the high end.

It’s the third increase in as many weeks.

Diesel is also higher, climbing 3.9 cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.15.6 and a maximum of $1.18.6.
