Four StFX teams are ranked in the latest U Sports top 10.
The X-Women rugby team (4-0) moves up one spot in the national rankings- from third to second- after a 38-14 win against Acadia in Wolfville Friday; they’re first in their four-team conference, two points up on second-place Acadia.
The X-Men hockey team (2-0-0) opens 2019-20 third in the country after a pair of wins against Dalhousie and UPEI to start the AUS season; they sit in top spot in the seven-team conference, a point up on second-place Moncton.
The X-Men soccer team (5-1-1) has cracked the top 10- moving into eighth- after weekend home wins against Saint Mary’s and Moncton; they’re second in their 10-team conference, three points back of Cape Breton for top spot.
The X-Men cross country team also moves in the national rankings in the number nine spot.
