A StFX soccer player has earned some recognition within his conference.
Dan Hayfield, a forward with the X-Men, earned the AUS male athlete of the week award after he recorded five points in a pair of weekend home wins.
Hayfield had a goal and an assist in Friday’s 3-0 win against Saint Mary’s; he scored twice and added an assist in Sunday’s 3-0 win against Moncton.
He was named StFX male athlete of the week Monday.
